Instructions for remote working in lockdown
It has been directed to all government offices to carry their works on in the ongoing strict lockdown remotely using virtual platforms like e-documents, e-tenders, e-mails, SMS, WhatsApp etc. A letter in this regard has been issued to the concerned from the Field Administration Coordination Branch of the Cabinet Division on Sunday (July 11).
The letter, signed by Rezaul Islam, Deputy Secretary notified that it had been instructed to close all government, semi-government, autonomous and non-government offices to implement the restrictions imposed to stop the spread of the COVID-19.
All emergency office and service activities are open as an exception due to the increase in the number of emergency cases. In the letter, it is requested to take necessary steps to complete all the official work of the government office virtually considering the pandemic situation.
